The United States – South African Boer Goat Breeders Alliance (US-SABGBA) was established to unite dedicated Boer goat breeders across the United States under a shared commitment to breed integrity, genetic excellence, and responsible advancement of the Boer goat industry. Rooted in the proven South African Boer goat breeding system, the Alliance serves as the official conduit for South African breed standards, studbook principles, and inspection practices within the USA.
Our Alliance exists to protect the purity, functionality, and long-term sustainability of the Boer goat while fostering collaboration, education, and opportunity for breeders at every stage of involvement.
Our Mission & Breed Commitment
US-SABGBA is committed to preserving and improving the Boer goat as a traditionally bred meat goat, guided by scientifically proven breeding principles and internationally recognized standards of excellence. Our work embraces all three recognized Boer goat race denominations—Boer Goats, Kalahari Reds, and Savannas—and welcomes breeders who are willing to adhere to established breed standards and ethical breeding practices.
